1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Student Hub (ATDRx) at atdrx.me ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and the operators of Student Hub.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Code of Conduct, both of which are incorporated herein by reference.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform
• If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated
• One person may not maintain more than one account; duplicate accounts may be suspended

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@atdrx.me if you suspect unauthorised access.

3.2 Account Roles

The Platform operates a role-based system (Student, Teacher, Admin). Roles carry different permissions. Requesting a role upgrade does not guarantee approval. Admin access may be revoked at any time at the Platform's discretion.

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Code of Conduct, or applicable law.

4. Platform Content & Intellectual Property

4.1 Platform-Owned Content

The Platform's design, code, brand assets, curated content, and study guides created by the Student Hub team are the intellectual property of Student Hub. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

4.2 User-Generated Content

By submitting content to the Platform — including opportunity listings, blog posts, study guides, chat messages, and resume uploads (future feature) — you grant Student Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and moderate that content for the purpose of operating the Platform.

You retain ownership of your original content. You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

4.3 Third-Party Content

The Platform aggregates job listings from external APIs and news from third-party providers. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of third-party content. Always verify opportunities directly with the posting organisation before applying.

5. Opportunity Listings

• Opportunities submitted by users are reviewed by the moderation team before publication
• Approved listings are believed to be accurate at the time of approval but may become outdated
• Listings older than 30 days are automatically flagged as 'Verify Before Applying' — this is a courtesy signal, not a guarantee of expiry
• Student Hub is not a recruitment agency and is not party to any employment or internship agreement between users and third-party organisations
• We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on opportunity listings on the Platform

6. Newsletter & Alerts

By subscribing to the newsletter or enabling opportunity alerts, you consent to receiving emails from Student Hub. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or from your account settings. We will not share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Gamification & Badges

The badge and gamification system is provided for engagement purposes only. Badges have no monetary value, are non-transferable, and may be modified or revoked by the Platform at any time. The criteria for earning badges may change as the Platform evolves.

8. Community Chat

The community chat is a real-time feature provided for peer networking and academic discussion. It is moderated but not continuously monitored. Student Hub is not responsible for content posted in the chat. Users are personally responsible for their communications. Content that violates our Code of Conduct will be removed and may result in account suspension.

9. Study Guides & Educational Content

Study guides and mnemonic resources on the Platform are created to assist with academic preparation. They are not a substitute for official course materials, textbooks, or institutional guidance. Student Hub makes no warranty that the content is error-free, complete, or appropriate for your specific examination or curriculum.

10. Future Features

The Platform intends to introduce additional features including but not limited to:

• Peer resume and portfolio review — users who upload documents for review grant the Platform permission to facilitate community feedback; uploaded documents are not used for any other purpose
• Competitive exam content (GATE, CAT, UPSC) — governed by the same content and intellectual property terms as existing study guides
• Roadmaps and learning paths — progress data is stored in your account and exportable on request
• Company-facing portals — if introduced, separate terms will govern company accounts

These future features will be subject to supplementary terms disclosed at the time of launch. Continued use of these features constitutes acceptance of those supplementary terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Student Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform — including but not limited to missed opportunities, loss of data, or reliance on inaccurate listings.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed INR 500 (or equivalent in your local currency).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Student Hub and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, we encourage users to attempt informal resolution by contacting us at legal@atdrx.me. We will endeavour to resolve disputes within 30 days.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must discontinue use and may delete your account.
