Code of Conduct

1. Our Commitment

Student Hub (ATDRx) is a student-first platform. We are committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and harassment-free environment for every student, contributor, and community member — regardless of age, background, gender, nationality, disability, educational institution, or level of experience.

This Code of Conduct applies to all spaces managed by Student Hub, including the community chat, blog submissions, opportunity submissions, profile activity, and any off-platform interactions conducted in connection with the platform.

2. Expected Behaviour

All users are expected to:

• Communicate respectfully and constructively with fellow students and moderators
• Share accurate, honest, and relevant information in submissions and blogs
• Give credit to original sources and authors when sharing resources
• Respect the privacy of others — do not share personal information without consent
• Report content or behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct using the in-platform reporting tools
• Use the platform for its intended educational and career-development purposes
• Accept constructive feedback gracefully — on submitted opportunities, blog posts, or study guides

3. Prohibited Behaviour

The following are strictly prohibited on Student Hub:

3.1 Harassment & Discrimination

• Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language targeting any individual or group
• Sexual harassment, unwanted advances, or inappropriate messages in community chat
• Bullying, intimidation, or threats — direct or implied
• Doxxing or sharing another user's personal details without consent

3.2 Misinformation & Fraud

• Submitting fake, expired, or misleading opportunities with the intent to deceive
• Impersonating companies, organisations, or other users
• Fabricating interview experiences, success stories, or qualifications in blog posts
• Artificially inflating ratings, views, or engagement metrics

3.3 Platform Abuse

• Spamming the chat, submission portal, or newsletter with unsolicited content
• Attempting to access other users' accounts or platform systems without authorisation
• Using automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to extract platform data
• Posting affiliate links, paid promotions, or self-serving commercial content without disclosure

3.4 Content Violations

• Uploading or sharing NSFW, illegal, or copyrighted material without proper rights
• Plagiarising academic content, notes, or study guides from others
• Sharing examination papers, answer keys, or materials in breach of institutional rules

4. Enforcement

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in the following actions, applied at the sole discretion of the moderation team:

1. Informal warning via notification or direct message
2. Formal warning recorded against the account
3. Temporary suspension of submission or chat privileges
4. Permanent ban from the platform with forfeiture of earned badges and data
5. Reporting to relevant authorities in cases of illegal content or activity

The moderation team reserves the right to remove any content, suspend any account, or take any other action it deems appropriate — with or without prior notice — to protect the community.

5. Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to us at legal@atdrx.me. All reports are reviewed confidentially. Retaliation against anyone who reports a violation in good faith is itself a violation of this Code.

6. Future Updates

As Student Hub grows — adding new features such as peer resume review, competitive exam content, roadmaps, and a broader community — this Code of Conduct will be updated to address new contexts. Users will be notified of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Code.
